DENIS Tariff Schedules and Accountability Form

DENIS Tariff Schedules

DENIS shall be entitled to update the tariff schedule from time to time. Notification of changes will be provided via email to all active dental providers on the DENIS database at the time of the change. DENIS will give 30 days' notice to practitioners before effecting the change.​

  • The tariffs listed do not consider scheme exclusions and scope of practice and is by no means a commitment of funding.
  • Benefit entitlement is governed by the relevant scheme option and rules as well as risk management interventions and protocols.

DENIS code categorisation

The DENIS Network Services Agreement makes specific reference to the differentiation between Conservative and Specialised Dentistry as defined by DENIS. The list of DENIS Conservative Codes is available below​.

Accountability form

In the event of Members requiring or demanding any treatment that falls outside of the Member's benefit or outside of the Network Protocol and particular Tariff Schedule; or the benefit requires a co-payment, this will be for the Member's own account. The Dental Practitioner must explain the method of charging and payment to the Member, with the Member acknowledging the debt in writing.

To assist the Dental Practitioner in obtaining written acknowledgment of debt a copy of an accountability form has been provided. This form is for dental practitioners that provide service to members of schemes managed by DENIS. ​
